On Thursday, Dec. 1, nine intermediate boys participated in the small schools Intermediate boys’ volleyball tournament at Blessed Katari School in Kitchener.
St. Boniface competed against four other schools, winning three games against Monsignor Haller to open the tourney.
The team had two wins and a loss in their next set of games against St. Clements.
St. Boniface then faced St. Brigid followed by Kitchener's St. Teresa.
The team was sitting in second place at the end of the tournament, which meant it advanced to the finals against first place St. Teresa.  In the final set, the first game went to St. Teresa’s and the second game to St. Boniface.
It was pretty intense!
In the third match, the St. Boniface team played their hardest and came out on top, bringing home the championship plaque for the second year in a row.
