Sugar Kings down Dutchmen

Brady Campbell scored three times, including the game-winner on a second-period power-play, to help lift the Elmira Sugar Kings to a 5-1 victory over the Kitchener Dutchmen at the Woolwich Memorial Centre, Sunday.
Campbell also assisted on Devon Wagner’s third-period goal, to complete a four-point night.
Michael Hasson also scored in the win, Elmira’s fourth in as many games.
Brett Priestap, Riley Sonnenburg, Justin Cooke, Andrew Smith, Colton Wolfe-Sabo, Will Cook and Wagner added assists.
Kitchener goal scorers were Paul Gallucci and Brett Campitt.
Both Dutchmen goals were scored with the man advantage.
Justis Husak made 27 saves in goal for Elmira, which outshot Kitchener 58-29.
Saturday, Elmira jumped out to a 4-0 lead early in the second period en route to a 6-2 victory at Waterloo to open weekend play.
Andrew Smith scored twice including the game winner, and Campbell and Hasson both scored and added a pair of assists.
Lukas Baleshta (2), Cook (2), Cass Frey and Priestap rounded out the scoring. Mac Clutsam, Wade Pfeffer and Nick Horrigan added helpers.
Scoring for the Siskins were Mike Van Ooteghem and Luke Rose.
Horrigan made 23 saves for the win.
Elmira travels to Listowel Friday and then is back on home ice Sunday (Dec. 4) to host Brantford. Game time is 7 p.m.
